'Tis the season to get out your favorite Christmas books!
Here is a list of ten Christmas books that kids absolutely LOVE, and some fun resources to go with each one!
Favorite Christmas books for kids! Featuring popular books and classroom activities to go with How to Catch Santa, The Polar Express, The Gingerbread Man, Olive the Other Reindeer, Mooseltoe, Snowmen at Christmas, Mrs. Wishy-Washy's Christmas, and more!

This fun book by Jean Reagan has children planning out ways to catch Santa on Christmas eve. My activity pack explores the book and includes planning pages where students can devise their own ways they would try to catch Santa! Find it {here}

Halloween will soon be here, and it's time to use some fun Halloween themed books and activities in the classroom to engage students in literacy learning!

I have created a list of 12 favorite Halloween themed books and activities...and some are great even if you don't 'celebrate' Halloween in the classroom. In fact, many include great lessons on character and inclusiveness!

 Poor Oscar gets teased by the other dogs about his silly Hallo-Wiener costume. Even though they don't deserve it, Oscar chooses to be kind and help the other dogs when a 'monster' scares them on Halloween.
