Mrs. J led the class in another great art lesson, featuring books we've been reading in class: The Hat and The Mitten.
At one station, students covered large paper mittens with glue, then covered the mittens with colorful, overlapping tissue-paper squares.
After the mitten was covered in tissue paper, students brushed a coat of ModgePodge over the entire mitten, to give it a shine.
At another station, students drew detailed outlines on a hat using pastels. The outlines were colored in using watercolor paint.
At a third station, students stamped snowflakes onto a piece of blue construction paper, then splattered white paint over it to look like falling snow.
