MRS. WISHY-WASHY ART
...and a class book that's become a fast favourite
CHRISTMAS ART
Mitten Cards
These activities were led by a parent volunteer/former teacher. At one station, students made a Christmas card using mini clothespins, folded stock paper, elasticized string, and a mitten template.
Students coloured the mittens, cut them out, and pinned them onto the "clothesline".
'Stained Glass' Painting
At another station, students used different coloured paint in each section of a picture to emulate stained glass.
Christmas Tree Card
Students received a piece of scrapbook paper with this template on the back:
They cut out the strips and glued them onto folded cardstock, leaving a little space between each strip.
